Description
We are looking for a self-motivated, pro-active and multi-disciplined Digital Marketing Intern to join the marketing team at VERMEG.
VERMEG is a specialised software house covering these main markets: Banking, Capital Market and Insurance. We provide proven OOTB solutions and a Digital Transformation platform, Veggo.
Our business solutions are designed to address the challenges linked to the transformation of the financial services industry. As information system architects, we ensure our clients can achieve cost reductions and time-to-market control in the modernisation of their information systems.
- Identify appropriate communication vehicles and mix strategies to support integrated campaign objectives and performance targets
- Use automated marketing and new marketing technologies and tools to drive marketing performance
- Help implement communication strategies for campaign efforts by audience, geography and segment
- Work towards increasing visibility, education and awareness of VERMEG to key industry audiences
- Work with and support Sales and In-side sales teams to deliver lead-gen and lead-nurture programs to capture in-bound marketing leads
- Maintain the company’s automated marketing / CRM systems
- Provide regular news tracking to the Management and Sales Teams with relevant data and overview of performance
- Update content and perform SEO optimisation on website regularly
- Support the execution of social media campaigns (both organic and sponsored)
- Assists with back-end management of live webinar events
- Ability to drive and run campaigns by yourself
- Support with planning and execution of marketing events and conferences

You will undertake the ground-breaking Apprentify Digital Marketer Level 3 apprenticeship.
We have designed our programme to offer you 4 distinct routes to focus your career path and specialise in areas such as Social Media, Search Engine Marketing, Web Design or Web Development. These paths are designed to jump-start your career and make you stand out in a competitive field increasing your future earning potential.
During the 15 months of training, you will learn cutting-edge theory and industry practice across three Knowledge Modules:
Marketing Principles – starting with the basics you will learn how to effectively target customers based on their wants and desires as well as how the sales and marketing funnels work. You will understand what makes customers buy or not buy and how marketing can influence this as well as how to effectively focus on target markets and manage customers to make them loyal to a business.
How the Web Works – delving into the technical you will learn the Principles of Coding and how marketers create effective websites, designs and user interfaces. This includes how web design and development drive engagement and conversions.
Driving Return on Investment – using data to create detailed customer insight, you will learn how to use industry leading platforms (including Google Analytics) to understand the online customer journey and improve your marketing based on customer usage of your website.
