Digital Marketing Assistant
Mandarin Stone is a leading importer of natural stone and porcelain products in the UK. We are a family run business that has grown into a very successful and reputable company within the industry. Our Head Office is based in the beautiful Wye Valley in the Welsh border town of Monmouth.
We have 14 inspirational showrooms across the UK and are currently recruiting for a Digital Marketing Assistant to work from home, with the option of working from our Monmouth Head Office. Should the successful candidate be predominantly based from home, you will be required to visit the Monmouth Head Office and Mandarin Stone Showrooms when required.
The main purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Marketing Director and to assist with managing the company website and social media accounts.
Duties of the Marketing Assistant include:
· To help develop Social media presence, keeping up to date with current trends and ecommerce opportunities
· Create engaging written content for new core products as well as our Showrooms
· Creating and checking website content including uploading of products, imagery and written content as well as general monitoring maintenance
· Optimising content for SEO purposes
· Responding to image requests
· Assisting with photo shoots when required
· Supporting the Marketing Director and Graphic Designer on both print and digital content
Experience needed for the Marketing Assistant:
We are looking for an individual with previous Digital Marketing and Website Management experience, ideally with a degree level of education and / or with a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience.
You will have:
· In depth understanding of Social Media channels and interior trends
· Self-motivated and highly organised
· An excellent eye for detail and ability to multi-task
· Be a confident communicator both verbal and written
· Experience in interiors is essential
· Have a creative flair
· Able to work efficiently and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
· Experience with WordPress and Google Analytics would be an advantage
· Social content creation, Videography and Photography skills would be an advantage

Location: Remote working, with the option of working from Head Office
Working hours: Monday to Friday. Our Head Office is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-Time hours are desirable however we will consider a minimum of 4 days per week for the right candidate
Salary: £20,000 - £30,000 pro rata. Depending on contracted hours
