Job Role

Success at School is a national careers organisation for students aged 13-19. Our mission is to provide young people with the necessary tools and information to make informed decisions about their future through careers advice, employability skills, and education opportunities. We work with top employers and universities across the country to connect our network of students, teachers, parents, and influencers with valuable career opportunities.

As our Marketing and Content Manager, you will lead the charge in our rebrand and growth efforts. You will be responsible for raising awareness and engagement of our key audiences, including students, teachers, parents, universities, and employers. You will also play a key role in launching new products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to raise awareness and grow our audiences
  • Drive audience engagement through email and social media campaigns, including segmentation, testing creative, creating subject lines, and developing engaging content
  • Use customer insights to ensure we meet the needs of our audiences through research, performance analysis, and recommendations
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and make recommendations to drive performance in areas such as open rates, click-through rates, social engagement, database growth, and SEO rankings
  • Develop and implement a marketing content calendar to ensure brand presence across channels and align with key events such as National Careers Week and GCSE exams

Qualifications, Experience, and Qualities:

  • 1-2 years of experience in data-driven digital marketing, with a focus on driving business growth
  • Passion for marketing and understanding audience needs
  • Interest in the education sector
  • Ambitious about your career and professional development
  • Proactive, diligent, and reliable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong MS Office and IT skills
  • Comfortable working with technology and able to quickly learn new systems and software
