CityDays create urban adventures, a blend of gamified walking tours and outdoor escape rooms. We show off a city's culture, history and great local businesses. CityDays use all manner of urban quirks to transform cities into puzzle-filled playgrounds full of things to see, facts to be thrilled by and fascinating stories to explore.
We operate remotely and provide games in cities worldwide to a mix of customers - b2c and for b2b team building days. Our mission is to expand to all major cities and produce fantastic games that immerse customers in the city around them.
The Role:
- Create, develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategy across multiple cities/countries.
- Create, manage and optimise marketing campaigns.
- Identify, build and develop customer acquisition across a range of channels. Optimising landing pages for different audience segments.
- Maintain products and relationships with external marketplaces - ensuring content is up to date and optimised.
- Manage and grow paid marketing portfolio; Google ads, external website listings, Facebook ads, etc.
- Work with developers to optimise website content and sales funnel.
- Provide regular updates of results and findings.
- Promotion of ticketed events with press releases etc.
- Work with the creative team to create data-driven decisions about new products and market opportunities.
Who are you:
- A start-up mentality - not afraid to test out innovative ideas and roll up your sleeves to get stuff done.
- Comfortable working in a small team.
- Experience working remote, independently and with a team across time zones.
- Min 3 years marketing experience across a range of channels. Demonstrating expertise in driving customer acquisition and retention. Proven success in driving results across a range of channels (paid, organic, social, web, email).
- Working knowledge of SEO.
- Excellent campaign & project management skills with experience delivering high quality digital marketing activity on time and to budget.
- Proven creativity and vision in the development of compelling marketing and promotional plans.
- Ability to analyse, interpret, and apply data to make evidence-based commercial decisions and optimise performance. Experience of using web analytics software including Google Analytics.
- Desirable: Comfortable creating great campaign imagery and assets.
- Desirable: History of marketing events, sending press releases etc.
- Desirable: Experience managing performance of others and helping people to develop, grow and achieve their potential, including increasing diversity and inclusion in teams and / or workplaces.
- Desirable: Passion to evolve to a leadership position and build a team.
Flexible working hours, full time working hours are 35.5 per week (finish early on a Friday).
Holidays: You’ll start on 22 holidays plus bank holidays which will increase each year up to 27 days of annual leave.
