Who we are looking for

A Fraud and Risk Specialist, who will be responsible for delivering an effective risk assessment, protecting the business from financial threats and analysing behavioural patterns and trends.

The Fraud and Risk department is responsible for the prevention and detection of fraudulent activity across all products and managing the risk associated to a spectrum of payment options.

You will have a keen interest or background in fraud, risk and analytics. With your investment, we will provide the opportunities to develop professional skills in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

The position is full time, working 7 days on, 7 days off between 20:30 and 08:00, which includes hybrid working following the completion of the training period

In return, we offer a starting salary of £29,978 (increasing to £33,722 upon successful completion of training), bonus scheme, generous holiday allowance alongside other benefits.

The next expected intake for successful applicants will be on is 14/08/2023.

Preferred skills and experience

Ability to problem solve and find effective resolutions.
Accuracy, consistency and a strong work ethic.
Self-motivation and an ability to perform a multitude of tasks in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Experience in a Fraud, Chargeback, Payments or relatable role is preferred.
Interest in fraud management and related regulatory requirements including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter Terrorism Financing (CTF) and Know Your Customer (KYC).
Experience of Gaming, Casino and Poker products would be advantageous.

Main Responsibilities

Analysing alerts in line with our internal risk controls.
Assessing the risk of deposit, withdrawal and product activity.
Using proactive investigation techniques to identify new and emerging threats.
Contacting customers via telephone and email.
Providing 2nd line support to the operation regarding fraud and risk related queries.
Analysing customer information, betting and gaming patterns and other forms of activity to accurately identify risk behaviours.
