The Opportunity
This position works out of our Maidenhead office in the Nutrition department. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. As the Digital Health Solutions Manager, you will support the strategic development and implementation of customer and internal facing technology solutions for Abbott Nutrition UK. You will be responsible for balancing between operational oversight of core systems as well innovating with new developments. Optimal solutions will also increase customer retention, new contract success rates and support internal teams’ effectivity.
What You’ll Do
You will develop the customer facing IT strategy supported by objectives and tactics. A key requirement for this role is to implement Digital and IT based solutions for stakeholders, ensuring the development is driven by insights which enhance our contract win success rate whilst ensuring business and financial goals are achieved.
All solutions must meet the latest UK legal, regulatory and governance standards and are compliant with the needs of the National Health Service (NHS) as appropriate
The role will involve maintenance of current systems and lead on creation of appropriate training resources
You will support the Contracts Administration team in submitting and presenting compelling contract bids which outperform market competitors.
To provide expertise in a wide range of technology solution to ensure the development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of IT solutions this will involve performance management of agreed metrics to ensure that activities are aligned to business goals.
The digital health service manager will work closely with the Healthcare Services Director, Sales Director, Marketing Director.
Identify and assess emerging opportunities identified as part of the contract tender process and recommend optimal and cost effective solutions.
Support trouble-shooting of major issues within key accounts as required and identify improvements to help mitigate or resolve these issues.
Ensure that all customer solutions are supported fully within the agreed contractual hours.
Required Qualifications/Experience
Educated to degree level plus relevant experience
Proficient use of whole Microsoft Office 365
Experienced background in developing IT and Digital solutions to meet internal and external business needs.
Broad experience in a variety of technologies and platforms, including but not limited to, web applications, CRM systems, integration services, mobile apps.
Experience with both on-premises, cloud-based services and hybrid environments.
Strong ability to translate complex technology concepts into stakeholder appropriate communications.
An effective communicator with a demonstrable track record of influencing internal and external customers including experience of presenting and achieving significant financial business case approvals.
An effective networker, with experience in influencing cross-functional teams.
Ability to plan, organise and manage complex projects and tasks, whilst dealing with conflicting priorities, efficiently and effectively.
Ability to assimilate complex information to identify trends, obstacles and commercial opportunities that will benefit Abbott.
