The Council is seeking a Digital Graphic Designer to join its Communications and Marketing team to be an expert in designing marketing campaigns, digital advertising content and report.

We are looking for the next great addition to our dynamic communications team. As a Digital Graphic Designer, you will operate in an exciting environment where no two days are the same. This would be an ideal role for a graphic design graduate.
Duties of the role
This is a diverse role that supports the creation of designed assets, both internally and externally across multiple platforms.
Using appropriate design programs, you will be supporting marketing campaigns and reports to deliver high quality engaging material which helps to promote The City of Colchester.
You will also be supporting various services through the creation of e-newsletters, print management and assets and some social media support.
Qualifications and skills required
This uniquely positioned role will require a highly motivated digital design professional who is able to engage with a wide range of subject areas to effectively communicate to a range of audiences including commercial, enterprise and community. This is an exciting opportunity to help us tell our story.
You will have detailed knowledge and understanding of Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop with Premiere Pro knowledge preferable. It would be an advantage if you hold an understanding of photography and video production and creating strong images and videos to provide the public with information.
Working within the Communications and Marketing team, you’ll be able to work under pressure, as well as a willingness to learn and develop, will be very important.
