Job description
Directorate: Communities & Place
Hours: 37 hours a week, term time only, covering hours between 07:30am – 20:30pm including some weekend working (Job share may be considered)
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Kings Chambers, Queen Street, Derby, DE1 3DS
We have a number of opportunities for people with a fair and common sense approach to join our award winning Digital Enforcement team who manage the enforcement of traffic restrictions using camera technology across the whole of the City of Derby.
You will be responsible for reviewing, via computer, evidence captured of vehicles that have contravened restrictions within the city and issuing Penalty Charge Notices to those vehicles. You will be required to follow clear procedures and use your judgement in a conscientious way. You will need a keen eye for detail and the ability to act under pressure in a fast paced environment. In response you can expect support with extensive training in addition to a learn and grow approach. The post is predominantly office based but there will be occasions when the post holder will need to perform site visits and therefore must demonstrate the resilience to be able to work outside in all weathers.
If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a fast paced environment we look forward to hearing from you.
