This role is part of our award-winning marketing team, based in Colwick, Nottingham. Hillarys are part of the Hunter Douglas group of companies, so as Digital Data Assistant you’ll contribute to driving forward digital analytics for our portfolio of over 20 brands across the globe. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking for a new career challenge with growth opportunities, in an exciting emerging industry. You’ll assist in gathering, analysing and interpreting data from web analytics and digital campaigns, providing valuable, actionable insights to optimise the customer journey. An understanding or interest in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager will help you hit the ground running, but full training will be provided, as you’ll be collaborating with our contacts at Pinterest, Meta (Facebook) and Google to create different ways to measure tracking on our websites.
Attention to detail and accuracy is key for this role, as you’ll be supporting with cookie implementation across our different brands, ensuring everything is working correctly and is compliant against changing legislation. You’ll be a confident communicator, with the ability to quick build stakeholder relationships as you’ll be working collaboratively with the wider marketing team, particularly the Web team, SEO, PPC, Insight and Social teams.
Analytical and data-driven with a “can-do” attitude with a passion for solving problems, this opportunity will allow someone to get hands on experience whilst being mentored by a specialist team. You’ll gain valuable experience and training to help shape your future career in analytics.
Digital Data Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Support Digital Marketing Analyst and Hunter Douglas brands by:
- Development and maintenance of digital analytics metrics, tracking and tagging for website traffic.
- Cookie consent development and maintenance.
- Supporting stakeholders on reporting and data visualisation.
- Improving conversion and digital performance.
- Maintaining reports and dashboard digital performance and user behaviour.
- Configuring analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics 4, to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
- Conducting analysis of campaign performance, user behaviour, conversion funnels, and other relevant metrics.
- Assisting in the execution of A/B testing and providing insights to improve conversion rates
