To help us continue our transformation into digital, marketplace leaders, we are looking for an creative superstar to join the team and help in leading this journey. As our newest Digital Creative Experience Designer (BAU), you will be part of a highly skilled team to drive forward the online digital experience for the Homebase website by ensuring first class customer journeys, simple user experiences, stunning creative and engaging content. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will thrive on delivering creative experiences, that align to our brand guidelines, to support our extensive product range and delight our customers.

Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday. (8am - 4pm/9am - 5pm

Contract: Full-Time, Perm.

Location: Fully Remote - however you will be required to spend 2 days per month either in store or at our Store Support Center in Milton Keynes offices*

  • While this role will operate remotely, we do ask for some flexibility during some of our busier, peak periods, where you may be asked to visit our offices slightly more regularly.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 plus bonus (Depending Upon Experience)

The role

Day to day, your role will see you working on website assets, pages, campaigns and customer journeys – as well as supporting our digital marketing channels including eCRM.

What will you be doing? (including but not limited to)

  • Development of wireframes, visual concepts, prototypes and all associated assets needed for the CMS
  • Development of all eCRM assets inline with digital guidelines
  • Ownership of UI libraries and assets
  • Guardian of digital brand guidelines
  • Carrying out user testing on creative concepts

What you need to be successful:

  • Digital expert ideally from a retail environment
  • Strong attention to detail, guardian of the brand guidelines and UI design
  • Planning and managing own workload
  • Extensive experience of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop/Illustrator/XD)
  • UX skills to wireframe and prototype customer journeys
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS would be beneficial
