This is a fixed term or full - time position working in IMES Studios in Feltham on the outskirts of London; The successful candidate will be highly organised and motivated working with the Studio and Operations teams to assist in the capture of digital images and associated metadata, media in bounding and outbounding, plus the administration and coordination of all Studio bookings and related services.
Job Responsibilities
- Being a point of contact for our customers and clients, via telephone & email
- Ability to manage Studio tape traffic to and from Operations and the Warehouse
- Ability to use IMES ‘Smart Vault’ to enter metadata and image scans
- Ability to use tape management software to log all tape transactions and enter metadata
- Responsible for image asset migration (digitisation), restoration, remediation, and reformating in the digital studio space
- ‘Inbounding’ of media assets into the Studio tape management system
- Key internal point of contact for the Studios and Operations teams for internal Studios asset tracking, delivery, and return.
- Has a good understanding of video and audio formats and processes in order to be able to create customer work orders and quotations when required.

Experience
- Must have at least 2 years of college or university experience in digital media production
- Must have efficient use of standard office software and web awareness
- Should have a good knowledge of common broadcast media formats
- Should have the ability to quickly learn new computer software and hardware technologies
- Should have the ability to plan and prioritise a constantly changing workload
Specific Skills
- Working knowledge of MAC/PC including but not limited to: Capture One, Photoshop, Photomechanical, Adobe Acrobat, FileMaker, LightRoom, Google Suite
- Must have precise administration skills
- Must have a good level of maths and English
Personal Characteristics
- Must be passionate about the media industry and media preservation as a whole
- Must be able to work under own initiative
- Must be very organised and thorough
- Must be personable and a very good communicator
