Job description

We're looking for a have talented Digital Brand Content Assistant to join our dedicated Content Team here at the Boohoo Group. The successful candidate will be working as part of a growing on-site digital team that is challenged to define and evolve the user experience across all Client digital channels (including Debenhams site & apps, as well as partner sites, such as Burtons, Oasis, Wallis, Coast & Dorothy Perkins). The Digital Brand Content Assistant will be primarily responsible for researching, reviewing, and assisting in the planning of rich product & branded content. This role shall require the candidate to also have confident channel knowledge.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate across the multifunctional team and assist in the planning of rich product and brand content.
  • Conduct in-depth research into related products, categories and brands to facilitate the Content Manager in creating content audit reports, gap analysis and define industry benchmarking guidelines.
  • Planning, ideating, and creating highly relevant and engaging content which the target audience will resonate with across the e-commerce channels.
  • Coordinate with the creative teams (Artwork, Design, Motion, Video & Photography) ensuring any creative is analysed and feedback is given to build best-in-class content.
  • To assist and help manage content for CRM channels across multiple brands, monitoring and analysing best-performing emails.
  • Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities and best in practise digital brand content.
  • To provide administrative support across all digital platforms, ensuring content aligns with brand guidelines and standards.
  • Actively build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

More about you

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS)
  • Must possess some knowledge of content categorisation, content development, distribution and measurement.
  • An understanding of content production for web & app specifically and some (but less desired) channel-specific knowledge such as Blog, Social, CRM, Affiliates, Paid, SEO etc.
  • General knowledge of the digital ecosystem.
  • An understanding of content analytics tools such as Google Analytics & Contentsquare.
  • Creativity and passion for storytelling and the ability to think of new ideas and see them through to detailed execution.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of design principles and the ability to work with graphic designers.
