Digital Communications Officer
Corporate Services
Grade 4 i.e. £24,496 to £26,845 per annum
Full time - 37 hours per week
Are you a skilful communicator with a background in public relations, communications, marketing or journalism? Do you have the ability to create engaging content across Bassetlaw District Council’s online channels?
Do you have a flair for photography and film, know your Canva from your Creative Cloud or know how to pen the perfect posts that will make our socials stand out from the crowd.
Can you create campaigns that will tell a compelling story, know your way around website CMS and work with a diverse set of departments that deliver vital services to Bassetlaw residents.

If successful, you’ll join a small team of expert communicators that works with all Council Services, local stakeholders and community partners. This role has a wide and varied remit and you will have the opportunity to work across a number of high profile projects.

Bassetlaw is an attractive place to live and work. It includes the most northerly district of Nottinghamshire; bordering Derbyshire, South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire with two main population centres - Retford and Worksop, each surrounded by a network of picturesque villages.
