Digital Communications Manager

Digital Communications Manager plays a critical role in deploying digital thinking, tools, and techniques in support of the clients corporate communications priorities. You will be developing and executing digital strategies and campaigns, to meet business objectives.
The primary focus of this role is to communicate through external digital channels about our sports sponsorships – rugby, golf, and motorsports. You will be also involved in helping to position the client as an employer of choice and support other corporate announcements (acquisitions, etc.) and projects (such as World Economic Forum, Nobel Prize Outreach, World Climate Summit, etc.).
What you’ll do:
- As part of an integrated Marketing & Communications team, be responsible for implementation of the digital elements of the communications plan to meet business objectives: Advise on the effective strategy and digital tactics, and own their end-to-end delivery across channels, using appropriate internal and external resources
Advise on a mix of content format based on objectives and target audience
Oversee the production of content (for example, videos, articles, snackable content for social, etc.), ensuring quality and consistency in messaging to maximize impact; create some short-form content for digital channels if needed
Manage the flow of content through digital channels
As part of our employee advocacy program, support social media programs of the clients most senior executives, and advise subject matter experts on best practices, to support them on their journey to become digital influencers
Own the reporting of digital KPIs and deriving insights to drive improvements in future campaigns
- Collaborate with other M&C teams (Social Content Studio, analytics, SEO, etc.), external agencies, and a Digital Communications Executive
- Provide excellent service to colleagues, helping them to make the most of our digital capabilities and channels
- Collaborate with digital marketers, PR team, and the global network to drive adoption of campaigns across teams and geographies
- Bring new ideas and thinking, and monitor the marketplace for upcoming trends in campaigns, formats, and technologies, to keep adding value
- Play an active role in the team, contributing insights and best practice
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in corporate communications or content, combined with significant experience in digital/social marketing in a B2B environment; from strategy and planning to execution, analytics, and evaluation, you’ve worked with organic and paid campaigns, employee advocacy, social listening, SEO, etc.
- Strong working knowledge and experience of digital tools (Google Analytics, TalkWalker, Hootsuite, Sociabble, etc.), channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.), paid platforms, and content formats
- Track record, either in-house or for an agency, consulting customers/stakeholders to understand objectives and, in response, planning activities and execution
- Ability to manage multiple projects across teams and geographies, to deliver under pressure to tight deadlines, quality, and cost - and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and networking capabilities – able to build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders with ambition to exceed targets and expectations
- Creativity and innovative approach, to keep adding value
- Commanding a presence with senior executives, both internal and external
- Ability to effectively communicate information, ideas, and messages in writing and verbally
- Good track record in working within a geographically dispersed team
- An eye for detail and for accuracy
- A team-spirited, proactive, enthusiastic, dynamic, and flexible self-starter, willing to take on various tasks, large and small

Salary: £500.00-£550.00 per day
