Digital Asset and Content Taxonomy Manager
Location: GSK House

Job Purpose
Digital Fuel is a team whose mission is to harness the power of data and technology to ignite experiences that matter to patients, customers, and GSK. We are a combined team of Customer Experience, technology and data experts focused on partnering and supporting our global, local and medical teams to deliver ambitious omni-channel outcomes.
As part of Digital Fuel and the Content Products Management Team, this role is accountable for the global platforms and processes/workflows used for the creation, review, approval, and production of content by Global, Regional and Local market teams. We will activate levers within the Digital fuel team to drive business objectives and proactively propose innovate CX solutions to transform the way GSK engages HCPs, payers and patients.
The Content Management Team has an exciting new role for a Digital Asset and Content Taxonomy Manager with approximately 50:50 split between:
Enterprise DAM (Digital Asset Manager)
- Responsible for the organisation, management, and distribution of digital assets across the commercial and medical pharma business.
- Managing digital asset libraries, implementing metadata standards, creating, and enforcing digital asset management (DAM) policies, ensuring the integrity and security of digital assets, and managing digital asset usage rights
- DAM Product Owner maintaining a roadmap and backlog in partnership with internal tech and external vendor teams
Enterprise Content Taxonomy Manager & Content Lab support
- Content Lab subject expert (both business and technical) with responsibilities for deputy duties for product lead.
- Provide business analysis support for proposed features and generate reports to analyse user behaviours, generate user stories etc
- Create regular detailed communications and training documentation to support releases and promote best practices in our user community
- Manage global content taxonomy
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for talent that has a passion for the production and management of content, with relevant experience and has either local or global marketing and/or medical roles and is passionate about omni-channel customer content experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement digital asset management (DAM) strategies, workflows, and best practices to efficiently organize, manage, and distribute digital assets across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including external creative agencies, Global/Local, marketing, production and technology teams, to understand their DAM and Content Lab needs.
- Create and enforce metadata standards and naming conventions for the global content taxonomy and digital assets to ensure consistency, accuracy, and searchability
- Maintain and update digital asset libraries, ensuring that assets are properly tagged, categorized, and stored in an organized manner.
- Monitor and manage digital asset usage rights, permissions, and licenses, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain DAM software and tools, troubleshoot technical issues Provide training and support to users on DAM and Content Lab.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize Content Lab & DAM processes and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness of digital asset management. Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure the integrity, security, and backup of digital assets in the DAM Create, update and report on DAM KPIs and impact to the business
- Manage the DAM vendor relationships including awareness of latest roadmap items and advocating on behalf of GSK .

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience managing DAM solutions within a connected ecosystem
- Experience within Global and Local (country level) marketing and/or medical teams
- Passionate about digital content management and the role it plays in driving the omni-channel customer experience
- High accountability & track record of successfully delivering critical complex projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience managing a DAM solution
- Experience of working, managing taxonomy and working with Pharma content approval systems
- Strong technical acumen – with good knowledge of asset management solutions and best processes
- Experience working with Agile Tech teams and basic content creation infrastructure.
- Experience in defining and implementing taxonomical structures and managing rights
- Excellent understanding of Online/Offline editorial workflows
- Strategic thinking, confidence, keen eye for detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an expert ability to present and communicate new ideas and concepts
- Highly developed leadership, networking, communication and influencing skills to work effectively in a complex matrix environment.
