Digital and Data Analytics Lead - Networks Birmingham, England

Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust
Full Time Birmingham, England 50952 - 57349 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Birmingham Women’s & Children’s NHS FT hosts a number of Women’s & Children’s Clinical Networks for the West Midlands region, including;

  • Perinatal
  • Paediatric Critical Care
  • Surgery in Children
  • Congenital Heart Disease
  • Children & Young People and Teenage & Young Adult Cancer
  • Paediatric Palliative and End of Life Care Network.
We are inviting enthusiastic, motivated and innovative individuals to put themselves forward for this unique opportunity to join our team and help us develop these important networks and the underpinning management team. This postholder will be specifically responsible for the digital and data analytics function across our group of Networks, which is known as the West Midlands Childrens Network (WMCN). The postholder will form part of a wider team crossing all networks, which is developing new ways of working to best support both our members and patients and families in the West Midlands.

The postholder will be responsible for:
  • Providing programme/project management and expert analytical leadership to the WMCN
  • Lead on the creation and ongoing development of our dashboard solutions and regular reporting across the WMCN.
  • Work with various colleagues and stakeholders across the Network to improve data quality and assure our data collection is sustainable and sufficient for the present and future needs of our Networks.
  • Developing and diving forward the WMCN Data Analytics Team, driving the Data & Digital Strategy forward.
You will work closely with expert Clinical Leads and a huge variety of internal and external stakeholders so a proven ability to forge working relationships at all levels and across organisational boundaries is essential. The postholder will need to be an influencer; as well as servicing the needs of the individual ODNs, we are aiming to build a collective which is well positioned to advocate for the needs of West Midlands children, young people and families within the wider West Midlands health system.

An understanding and passion for networks or working across organisational boundaries is essential. The role will be based out of Birmingham Women’s & Children’s hospital sites with a blend of home working – the postholder will need to be able to travel across the West Midlands and further on occasion.
