A bit about the role...
Do you thrive on creating engaging digital content that appeals to audiences? Or do you have the skills to transform digital channels that connects with people? Yes! Then we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital and Creative Content Manager, in our well-respected corporate communication team.
This pivotal role will lead our digital strategy for both internal and external communications channels, ensuring that they work seamlessly for colleagues and help us to communicate effectively with our audiences on our external channels.
This role will be fast paced but rewarding. You will have the autonomy to shape our digital comms strategy and bring our content to life. This role will lead the day to day management of our channels, whilst working with colleagues across the organisation on both internal and external campaigns.
The post holder work will colleagues at every level in the organisation, providing strategic advice and tactical support as well as provide the digital support for events ensuring they run smoothly and are accessible for all.
This role will produce high quality video content, alongside the development of emerging digital channels that help to convey messages. As a member of the Government Communication Service you will access to excellent professional development opportunities.
A bit about you…
You will have experience of working in complex organisations and being able to take complicated messages and bring them to life in simple digital content. You will be resilient and comfortable with managing numerous projects at once.
An excellent customer experience is really important to us, therefore you will be able to make sure our digital content is joined up, simple to navigate and easy to understand. You will be comfortable working with internal stakeholders and providing them with advice on the best course of action to convey their message.
You will have the ability to create digital content using numerous mediums including – video, blogs, podcasts, intranets, websites, and social media. You will be creative in your approach and brimming with ideas on how we take forward our digital channels and improving how we communicate through digital mediums.
You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun, and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade. As an experienced communications professional you’ll understand how to work flexibly on priorities as no day is the same and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.
