What to expect
Visibility Systems Team is one domain within the rapidly growing area of systems engineering in body engineering. This team is responsible for the definition, development, integration, and delivery of complex direct vision systems. This role will require you to lead both technical and project aspects of the definition, development, and delivery of harmonised systems solutions using Model based systems engineering.
You will identify, record, and manage stakeholder requirements to develop systems that are central to the customer experience of class leading vehicles we produce. You will be at the heart of applying systems thinking to craft a design that meets demanding customer and regulatory requirements, whilst ensuring simplicity & ease of use.
What you'll need
You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of system behavioural and architectural artefacts as well as the system integration and harmonisation into the wider vehicle system of systems. Additional responsibilities will also include verification and validation; design and developing system integration tests.
Due to the cross functional nature of the position, you will be expected to lead and collaborate systems, whilst adhering to the defined model based systems engineering process. You will be expected to support team members and stakeholders in understanding systems engineering methodology.
Knowledge, skills & experience
Essential:
- Knowledge of model based systems engineering through Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow toolchain
- Experience defining customer level requirements
- Previous experience of the development of UX systems with HMI elements
- Experience of safety critical systems and software, including standards such as ISO26262, IEC61508 or similar.
