Trainee Nutritionist
The purpose of this role is to learn and use your nutritional expertise to support the new product development pipeline to deliver a major food and beverage range as part of a transformation programme.

We welcome applications from candidates with little or no experience.

The Role

• You will work with the new product development team and senior nutritionist to use your nutritional expertise & understanding of the latest developments to help the formulations of new food and beverage.
• You will work with the product developers and buyers to develop compelling product propositions and strong reasons to believe based on strong technical insight, competitor and market knowledge.
• You will liaise with suppliers to ensure we can create market leading formulations based on evidence-based nutrition, combined with innovation within the food and wellness market.
• You will translate complicated science into easy to understand and compelling product benefits and claims.
• Work with the senior nutritionist and science teams

The Person

• You will need to have a Nutrition and Health Certificate L2
• Knowledge of nutraceuticals would be a bonus
• Passionate about putting the customer at the heart of what we do and exceeding their expectations
• Outstanding communication & influencing skills, comfortable presenting to all levels.
• An innovation mindset - championing new ideas and opportunities
• A strong team player, adept at building effective relationships and stakeholder management
• Results driven with strong attention to detail and a focus on quality

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £28,000.00 per year
