We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual, to work with a friendly team of dietitians at East Surrey Hospital to lead our medical team and nutrition support for the medical patients.
If you are interested in leading a busy acute medical team whilst providing a complex medical nutrition support service (an oncology clinic also forms part of this role) we welcome your application for this post.
The medical dietetic team cover a variety of inpatient wards including stroke, acute admissions, respiratory and care of the elderly. You would be the lead Dietitian leading a team of 2 specialist Dietitians, 3 Dietitians and a dietetic assistant.
This part-time role includes supervision and operational duties as well as clinical duties, and flexible working and job share will be considered.
The post holder must be able to demonstrate an ability to work under pressure, in a busy acute environment, as part of a team and as an autonomous practitioner.
The dietetic department at East Surrey Hospital provides both adult and paediatric services to this busy acute hospital, along with a range of outpatient clinics. SASH works across sites, and there may be a requirement to travel to Crawley Hospital or Horsham Hospital as part of this role. There is excellent IT support, opportunities for personal development and there is a CPD programme in place.
