Job description
We have an opportunity in the Nutrition and Dietetic Service for an enthusiastic support worker who is keen to develop their skills in nutrition care.
You will be based with the Nutrition and Dietetic Team in Neath Port Talbot Hospital, but you may need to work in other settings across the Health Board. This is a part time role (15 hours per week) permanent position.
As a Dietetic Support Worker you will work as part of the dietetic team, assisting the dietitians to provide a service to inpatients, outpatients and in the community as required. You will support the delivery of individual dietetic care plans and group education sessions. Experience of caring for patients and knowledge of nutrition are essential.
We offer departmental CPD time to support your development and are committed to the development of teaching and presentation skills, evidenced based practice, research and clinical audit. You will be supported in attending relevant networking meetings and clinical focus groups.
