The Radiology Directorate is looking to recruit keen, motivated and enthusiastic Radiographers to join our dedicated team of highly skilled professional Radiographers at Fairfield General Hospital.
Main duties of the job
You will work as part of the radiography team, providing an efficient and high quality imaging service 24/7, whilst dealing with patients in a caring professional manner. You will be expected, over time, to develop skills and experience in a range of areas and will be supported throughout this time by senior radiographers, although immediate supervision may not always be practicable.
You must have a degree or equivalent in Radiography obtained in the United Kingdom and be HCPC registered.
These posts are ideal for Radiographers who wish to develop their skills in a busy hospital setting.
The departments offer a preceptorship scheme and an induction programme. The departments provide clinical placements for undergraduate radiographers and are committed to learning and development. Role extension is actively encouraged.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- UK BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or DCR (R) or pending
- HCPC Registration or pending
Experience
Essential criteria
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience of working within a team and independently with support.
- Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of the principles of Radiography.
Desirable criteria
- CT experience
Skills & Knowledge

- Ability to present information in a clear and logical manner.

- Ability to carry out moderate physical effort throughout the working day and carry out concurrent activities subject to reasonable adjustment under the Equality Act 2010
