Description for the AWS DevOps Engineer roles:- This is a fantastic opportunity with a management consulting company, who are looking for multiple AWS DevOps Engineers to join them and help deliver innovative digital solutions to a number of end clients in the UK. Working on some of the largest and diverse digital projects, you’ll gain exposure to high-profile transformations and gain hands-on exposure to leading technologies.You will work with both architects and developers to implement CI/CD automation for the team’s needs. Also will be responsible for the infrastructure provisioning, configuration, build and application deployment and open-source projects and initiatives
My client has a very comprehensive training program for all their consultants.
Candidates can live anywhere in the UK and will be based from home. Client visits may be necessary, but these will be fully funded.
PLEASE NOTE - You will either already have SC (Security Check) Clearance or you will qualify for this level of clearance (by being a UK resident for at least 5 years and not having left the country for more than 28 consecutive days during this period)
Experience for the AWS DevOps Engineer roles:-
- Over 18mths commercial experience in a commercial AWS DevOps Engineer role
- Environment experience - Agile, TDD, BDD, GIT
- Proven experience in DevOps processes and best practices
- Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines - Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo, TeamCity etc
- Experience with containerisation, virtualisation, and orchestration technologies - Docker, Kubernetes etc
- Experience working with AWS cloud technologies and services (additional experience with Azure or GCP is most welcome)
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code for configuration management and code implementation - Terraform etc.
Salary for the AWS DevOps Engineer roles will be up to £60,000 dependent on experience + an excellent benefits package.
