Job Description:
Fuelius is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated DevOps Engineer apprentice to join their growing team based in Chester.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
- Working with the engineering team to provision and maintain Microsoft Azure Environment.
- Working with the engineering team to maintain CI/CD Process and pipeline.
- Working with engineering team to run maintenance, updates and security assessments on Microsoft Azure environments.
- Continuously research CI/CD engineering best practices to enhance Fuelis’ offering.
- Work closely with the client’s engineering teams to promote a DevOps culture and be part of making their engineering teams more efficient.

- An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (desirable)
- Knows basic cloud concepts (desirable)

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 4 DevOps Engineer, with training in how to:
- Write scripts and coding to meet your business’ needs.
- Develop and deploy software and cloud infrastructure.
- Build and operate a Continuous Integration (CI) capability.
- Implement and improve release automation and orchestration.
- Use security tools and techniques for software development.
- Evolve and define IT architecture.
- Follow test driven development and ensure appropriate coverage.
