Salary: £42,503 to £46,549 per year, plus up to 5% PRP

Contract: Permanent, full-time, 37 hours’ per week, Monday to Friday

Location: Hybrid working from our Northallerton office, on-site, and at home

Office: Racecourse Lane, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD

Do you consider yourself a dedicated and hardworking professional focussing on development, construction or project management? At Brierley Homes we have an exciting opportunity for a Development Project Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

You will take the lead on the day-to-day running of projects to ensure they, as well as the wider business plan are delivered efficiently, safely and to an agreed timeframe and budget. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will co-ordinate with a large number of contractors, architects, engineers, planners and surveyors clearly and positively to develop good professional relationships. This requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as being an approachable and understanding individual.

Drawing on your experience in new-build developments from start to completion, you be able to effectively demonstrate resilience and problem-solving skills to overcome unexpected challenges that occur during the construction process. This role requires great organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise workload and function well under a pressured environment.

With your experience of the new-build industry you will be able to provide strong commercial management, strategic direction and professional advice to the Brierley Homes Board. You will be able to confidently demonstrate your knowledge and experience of developing business plans, business cases, leading people and performance management and applying creativity and innovation to problem solving.

As we continue to scale up and grow as a business, being able to use your professional judgement to make clear business-focused decisions is very important. You will be currently in a position of project or development management, demonstrating the initiative and motivation to develop this position and grow with the business.

It is essential as a successful candidate you have;

· A degree, or equivalent qualification, in a relevant discipline

· Experience in a project management, or similar, position

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Great IT Skills, particularly Microsoft Office suite

· Ability to reliably travel to our various sites in North Yorkshire
