Continuous Improvement Lead, IAG Cargo

THE ROLE
As part of the Continuous Improvement team, you will report to the Head of Continuous
Improvement and work in a designated area of the operation you will support, co-ordinate and
facilitate the implementation of new and improved processes, workflows and activities.
Working alongside planning and operational teams, you will maximise efficiencies of the
mechanical handling system within given constraints whilst optimising staff productivity. You
will drive continuous improvement and inspire others to ruthlessly identify and eliminate waste
across the operation.
- Work with relevant stakeholders and suppliers to obtain and analyse data associated
working practices and processes
- Work alongside teams to identify and reduce process waste and contribute to and

PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Strong ability in interpreting & communicating analytics to senior leadership
- Excellent communication skills and detail orientation
- Process mapping and producing work instructions (written/visual)
- Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
- Facilitation of workshops and problem-solving events
- Degree in relevant field (or equivalent)
- Professional experience with Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies
- Relevant knowledge of change management and continuous improvement
Essential Experience
- Experience from Industrial Engineering, Business Process Engineering, Quality,
- Experience working in a unionised environment
- Experience working across a geographically diverse organisation
- Experience working in aviation, air cargo or a similar logistics organisation would be
