The Challenge

Embark on your 12-month placement with us whilst taking part in our fantastic Intern Development Programme. We will create an individual training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of it, you will be set up with the best knowledge and hands-on experience to equip you for your professional career in Development / Data Science.

Here is a taste of what you can expect:

  • Team working with the Digital Hub team
  • Participation / lead with user requirement workshops
  • Translating user stories into requirements
  • Prioritisation of feature development into Minimal Viable Product sprints
  • Implement and test new features
  • Present new features and dashboards to senior stakeholders
  • Support users with training on how to use developed tools

Entry Requirements

We are looking for forward thinking, innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:
  • Studying towards a 2:2 or above in Computer Science or related degree
  • Coding skills - preferably with experience of SQL Server
  • This role will be a combination of home working and attending our office in Hebburn so you must be able to commute to the office regularly.
