As a Barclays Developer, you will be Developing and maintaining in-house software products daily. You will also, but not only, ensure that the code meets quality and coverage standards (through Checklists) measured by code reviews & unit tests (at 90%). You will also use Sonar Static code analysis and/or QA reports 100% adoption of standard DevOps tools including code quality instrumentation tool and ensuring Top code quality rating.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. What will you be doing?
- Working with teams in an Agile SCRUM team environment
- Responsible for full life cycle development and deployment
- Maintain and manage Source Control and Continuous Integration environment
- Continuous improvement and contribute to the design and architecture of the overall solution
- Participate with Solutions / Application architecture and design
- Provide development estimates as part of the Agile SCRUM team
What we’re looking for:
• Engineer Graduate (B.E. / B.Tech.), MCA, M.Tech
- Extensive experience .NET 4.6+ / .NET Core / C# / Visual Studio 2017/2019 ASP.NET Core / ASP.NET Web API
- Extensive experience with SQL Server and TSQL, SQL Server 2012 +
- Unit Testing (NUnit / MSTest / MOQ), Spec Testing (BDD SpecFlow)
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Experience in Amazon Web Services or any other Cloud Computing Platform
- Certification in any of the core development areas
- Financing/Loans Domain
Where will you be working?
Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investment in Northampton. Plans to further develop this Campus-style location are under way to allow for a real collaborative work environment. Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
