Due to an internal promotion, we’re now recruiting for a Destination Executive to join our team in Kingston to support the management of our product portfolio for the Americas and Caribbean. In this role you’ll ensure relevant product is available for sale and that content is up to date. You’ll work with our in-house purchasing teams to ensure we have a constant supply of market leading offers and support the achievement of our commercial targets through destination revenue growth.
As a Destination Executive you’ll support the Regional Destination Manager to secure partnership marketing funding from key suppliers and work with our SEO, PPC and marketing teams to ensure share of voice for your destination/products.
We’re looking for someone with good destination knowledge of the Americas and Caribbean, who can build and maintain strong relationships with both our suppliers and internally across departments.
This role is based in Kingston on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office each week). Some UK and overseas travel will be required to attend consumer events, trade shows and fam trips.
To be considered for this role, we need you to have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- A passion for travel
- Some previous experience within a tour operator or OTA would be an advantage
- Excellent communication & relationship building skills
- High level of attention to detail and copy accuracy
- The ability to manage your own time and prioritise where necessary
- Long-haul destination (ideally the Americas and Caribbean) and travel market knowledge
- An understanding of both online and offline marketing and how these impact trading in a consumer environment
- Good analytical and numerate skills
- Strong IT skills, ideally with some experience of travel systems
