We’ll offer you training in our high standards of customer service, food preparation, cleanliness and hygiene. To ensure success, dessert artisans should exhibit experience in serving customers in a retail setting and a customer-oriented approach. Outstanding candidates are highly organised and have excellent communication skills.
Dessert Artisan Responsibilities:
- Creating a welcoming and providing an excellent customer service.
- Advising customers on desserts menu and taking orders.
- Making and preparing desserts to high standard.
- Tracking expiry dates and arranging their use accordingly.
- Monitoring the visual appeal and the availability of cakes/goods on display.
- Restocking goods when required and monitoring stock levels.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy store and performing other duties on request.
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Work as a team member.
Dessert Artisan Requirements:
- Previous experience in serving customers in a food environment preferred.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to create visually appealing displays of goods and cakes.
- Knowledge of food and health regulations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Maintain high personal presentation in the provided uniform.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-30 per week
Salary: £8.02-£13.95 per hour
