Location: Hybrid
Salary Details: £21,000- £25,000 DoE
About The Role
You’ll form part of a small but committed team that covers IT desktop services across the entirety of the Ecotricity Group.
You’ll be working at our Stroud office, supporting the entire group which will include remote support for remote locations.
What you will do…
- Address user tickets regarding hardware and software in-line with department expectations
- Conduct local and remote troubleshooting
- Explore solutions to user’s IT requirements
- Participate in roll out of new technologies across the group
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Help create technical documentation and manuals
About You
The right candidate for this role will be customer focused and find value in helping people and fixing problems. You will be comfortable dealing with people ‘face to face’ and be happy to be a public face of the IT Services department.
You’ll be able to interpret and investigate requirements and issues and respond effectively, using good written and verbal communication skills.

Specific technology exposure
The skillset listed here is broad and diverse, and we don’t expect you to have all those here, so don’t be put off. Training is available to develop these skills:
- Windows desktop operating systems; including Windows 10
- Office suite; including Office 365 and Teams
- Active Directory user management
- Exchange user management including Exchange Online
- Mobile devices including IOS phones and tablets
- End user hardware equipment
- Familiarity with Mac OS would be advantageous
- Familiarity with the principles of internal and external network systems would be advantageous

This role isn’t being restricted by educational requirements. Your ability to demonstrate an interest in technology and customer service can be shown in any number of ways, how you demonstrate that to us is up to you.
