JOB SUMMARY:

Desktop Analyst is responsible for all single-user desktop technical issues and request and select multi-user technical issues and requests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support Microsoft Office Products, specifically M365 and D365 administration
• Installation and configuration of all desktop software
• VPN Client configuration
• Outlook configuration (Exchange Online)
• Asset Management Coordinator – maintain asset DB of Hardware and software assets
• Creating purchase orders
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing hardware and software issues on client computers
• Deployment of client machines
• Hardware Image creation and deployment
• Troubleshooting network printer issues
• Training of new staff on Outlook and basic network/computer use and for existing staff on Outlook upgrades
• Phone system user setup – Unison and digital PBX
• Plant and operational technology deployment and administration including
• Thin client
• Tablets
• Barcode scanners
• Wifi
• Terminals
• Legacy computers
• - Data Backup administrator - Act as a part of the business resumption team
• Wireless network support
• Intune – mobile device deployment and administration

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• College certificate: or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to perform word processing, spreadsheet and other required applications proficiently, with little or no supervision.
• Ability to keep up to date on most recent computer technology.
• Ability to learn a working knowledge of any other new or existing program.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong time management, collaboration and relationship building skills
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Takes initiative and ownership to resolve issues.
• Mandatory travel between Vaughan and Mississauga.
