Madison College has an exciting opportunity for a creative individual to join our Marketing Department as a Digital Designer. This individual will design across all digital media including-but not limited to-motion graphics, interactive design, animation, special effects, digital display ads, e-mail, web, mobile, and social media.
As a member of the Creative Team, you will collaborate with the Creative Manager and other team members on the concepting, development and implementation of interactive publications, regional digital advertising, web design, video graphics and more that market the college's branding message and unique selling points to a wide variety of audiences. Also, collaborating with the larger Marketing and PR Team to brainstorm creative caign ideas and ability to incorporate various types of multimedia into deliverables. Designing within Madison College brand guidelines while strengthening and progressing Madison College's image by ensuring the production of consistent, attractive, contemporary and high quality marketing deliverables.
This position combines expertise in technical creative production with an emphasis on digital motion, interactive design and animation along with workflow management and creative design. The Digital Designer will have extensive creative input into all digital elements of the marketing plan and continuously tasked with constantly exploring new trends and technologies in digital/social, graphic design and user experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Drive maximum engagement and effectiveness in digital design through 2D animation, video, and motion graphics.
- Strategize with college leaders on digital marketing and advertising concepts to effectively represent and progress the positive image and brand of the college.
- Lead work with vendors to ensure digital marketing assets are distributed appropriately and timely.
- Independently plan, analyze, present and create visual solutions that promote and evolve the college's brand identity including-but not limited to-motion graphics, digital display ads, e-mail, web, mobile, social media and print.
- Maintains a commitment to the college mission, vision, and values. Comply with college policies, directives, and work rules. Engages positively with colleagues, handles conflict directly and professionally, contributes to team discussions, collaborates, and helps colleagues, assumes the best from colleagues, provides, and accepts constructive feedback, follows through on commitments, and supports final decisions that are made.

Knowledge, Skills and ; Abilities:
- Digital/multimedia and interactive design software skills in Adobe Creative Cloud and/or similar software to develop marketing materials. (Proficiency using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects, InDesign, or similar software).
- Demonstrated skill in communications and human relations with populations of diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds and persons with disabilities.
- Knowledge of a wide variety of image, audio, and video file formats, converting from one format to another, and the software required to perform such tasks.
- Experience in developing and maintaining branded, multi-faceted digital caigns.
- Highly collaborative and open to feedback, suggestions and working alongside teams to ensure best outputs.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and give clear, concise rationale of designs and able to maintain high productivity while producing quality work under the pressure of frequent and varied deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate Degree in motion graphics, animation, digital/multimedia design, interactive graphic design, or related field.
- Four (4) years proven work experience in digital design.
