We have an exciting opportunity in our Toronto office for a Junior Designer, Interiors. Using your Revit skills, you will work closely with the project team to complete interior design and technical assignments while gaining experience.

What you’ll be doing at Kasian:

• Assist with schematic design, design development, and programming under supervision from more experienced team members
• Prepare design and technical working drawings
• Prepare hand sketches, perspectives, and colored renderings in 2D and 3D
• Prepare color and material boards, and presentation documents
• Contribute to design, production, and visioning meetings
• Attend meetings and communicate with clients alongside intermediate or senior designer as required
• Meet and develop relationships with product reps
• Provide product research and selection

What you bring to Kasian:

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design
• 0 to 4 years of interior design experience
• Proficient with graphics software (Sketch Up, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite); Revit experience considered an asset
• Interior design skills, creativity, and knowledge of design principles and elements
• Construction knowledge
• Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills
• Demonstrated graphic presentation skills
• Desire to learn and willingness to take direction
