The role can be based anywhere in Canada. All employees work virtually from their home office; therefore a minimum requirement is that employees have home office space and high-speed internet. This role requires employees to work non-standard hours to support global needs, employees are generally expected to be able to work during standard core hours (i.e. 9am to 5pm) when non-standard hours are not required.

Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Marketing, the Digital Asset Designer will be responsible for developing creative assets in various media formats and supporting the Lead Digital Assets Designer with graphic design work for the organization, contributing to a compelling brand experience.
Accountabilities
Work on all required creative assets to support IIBA’s Digital Experience Strategy (KnowledgeHub)
- Develop creative assets in various media formats that align with the brand guidelines, using InDesign and Photoshop
- Assist the Lead Digital Asset Designer in creating design, layout, images, and graphics for use in email, print, website, and social media
- Work closely with the Lead Digital Asset Designer to support the internal team’s design needs and ad-hoc requests
- Collaborate and brainstorm with individuals or teams on a range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, program collateral, signage, internal communications, newsletters, and other marketing materials
- Create and execute project deliverables to the highest standard under tight deadlines
- Have an awareness of current design trends and a willingness to explore different design solutions
Qualifications
- College diploma or university degree in contemporary web design, interactive media design, graphic design, digital marketing, or a related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams, Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud and software applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and XD
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience, including 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office template design and 2-3 years of graphic design experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Must be able to provide portfolio examples of work
- Preferred working knowledge of HTML5 & CSS, JavaScript, UX, web design, Prezi, and video
- Demonstrated ability to work remotely with minimal supervision
