Job Purpose

We’re looking for a passionate Junior Designer to join our in-house Creative Team at a very exciting time for AllBright. Currently in our growth phase we’re undergoing a brand refresh, introducing new initiatives often, have ambitious campaigns planned with exciting partnerships and plenty of opportunity for growth and development alongside our all-star team.

This role will support the team in design, creating and delivering purpose-driven projects for the brand, its world-class partners and industry-leading talents, shared with our global audience. Acting as brand guardian, you’ll work closely with the Senior Designer/Lead Creative to maintain, evolve and clearly articulate the brand vision. Collaborating daily with our in-house marketing, partnerships, L&D, product and club teams, to ensure we’re producing quality creative concepts and marketing collateral across all our channels and products.

We are looking for a skilled designer, au fait with numerous creative disciplines including graphic design, digital design, illustration/collage (whether you can do it yourself or have a great little black book of illustrators to commission), photo selection and formatting, and GIFs.

Outline of Key Responsibilities

  • Understand briefs and concepts to produce engaging and effective designs for social media, our digital platform and our physical clubs
  • Participate in various brainstorming/creative sessions and design projects from concept to completion
  • Use visual language to realise and communicate content messages
  • Confidently work across digital and print, with an enthusiasm and drive to learn new skills – including, but not limited to, digital editorial artworks, interactive learning tools, event and club collateral, social-first advertising, brand partnership execution and asset creation, new content franchise logos and marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate and support team members across the business to launch projects
  • Connect with the social and digital marketing teams to take insights, data and learnings and apply this to visual assets
  • Communicate with senior team members to receive and implement feedback
  • Clearly and professionally pitch creative ideas by creating engaging presentations
  • Upload images and assets to different CMS as part of the workflow

General Responsibilities

Person Specification

  • Highly creative with a good understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Working knowledge of Keynote and PowerPoint
  • Broad range of design skills to work across digital, traditional print, and social media with a strong understanding of best design practices across platforms
  • A strong understanding of typography and layout, editorial design, collage work and art direction to help the team produce the best work possible
  • Passionate about design and full of bright ideas, with a finger on the pulse of popular culture, alongside the latest social media and design trends
  • Relevant industry experience or a tip-top portfolio that showcases your creative flair (graphic design and/or print/digital production preferable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate your vision and ideas to others
  • Experience in using Figma, After Effects, Unbounce, and Canva is desirable but not essential
  • A positive team player
