About The Role

At Care South we are recruiting for a Design, Print & Media Manager to join our Head Office team in Poole.

  • Full time – permanent opportunity
  • Hybrid working - minimum 3 days based at Head Office
  • Salary up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & PR, you'll take ownership of the design, print and traditional media platforms ensuring highest standard of presentation, visibility & messaging. Ideal for a passionate designer with exceptional organisation skills who can negotiate, plan, book, manage, produce and supply artwork across multiple channels.

This hybrid-role is exciting and varied, involving development of brand, advertising and sales tools alongside the management of traditional media channels.

Working alongside the Digital Marketing Manager and gaining insights from the Customer Relations team our aim is to showcase the great care we provide residents and clients in our care, effectively identifying and reaching the right audiences to drive enquiries.


Typically, the role will include and therefore candidates will be able to evidence successful experience in:

  • Producing adverts, advertorials, and editorials
  • Researching/identifying appropriate publications for target audiences
  • Negotiating and managing relationships with multiple 3rd parties
  • Print & internet media buying essential, radio Outdoor or Out of Home (OOH) and broadcast (TV, Radio) not essential but preferable
  • Development & management of marketing literature and sales tools, including copywriting and direct mail campaigns
  • Working knowledge of GDPR, data protection and privacy rules particularly with a focus on marketing requirements and liabilities
  • Provide input into the yearly marketing plans and calendar planning, and assist in the delivery of timely, effective campaigns
  • Development of brand guidelines
  • The ability to plan and prioritise a varied workload as well as run multiple projects simultaneously
  • Confident and credible communication and relationship management skills
  • Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software
  • Exceptional creativity and innovation
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
