We’re looking for outstanding and dynamic Design Graduates (industrial, structural or product design) to join our Sales, Marketing & Innovation graduate scheme to begin in September 2023. About the programme
DS Smith are a market leader in the design, creation, and production of corrugated packaging solutions for a range of industries across the globe. We work closely with the Product Development, Operations and Marketing departments of top brands across the world, to deliver creative, innovative solutions that enhance our customer’s products in-store and throughout supply chains.
Working with a focussed team of Creatives you will manage the design contribution to customer briefs. As part of the wider Sales, Marketing & Innovation team, you’ll be working with a highly creative and motivated team of Designers and Sales Professionals to respond to briefs, develop creative solutions for both e-commerce and retail packaging requirements. You will explore the art of the possible, maximising opportunities for our customers to deliver on their packaging requirements. You will be able to demonstrate clear understanding of our customer’s needs – and bring your own insights and concepts to life using our suite of cad and collaboration technologies.
Alongside the role specific skills you’ll develop, you’ll be in a cohort of graduates and together we’ll offer you a world class development programme which will support you in becoming one of our future leaders.
- In year one the focus is on understanding yourself; your skills, your strengths and how to realise your potential.
- In year two your development will be about understanding others, how to work effectively in teams and how to support others.
You’ll then be in charge of your own career pathway, whether within an HR specialism or as a Business Partner and we’ll support you continue to grow at DS Smith.
- successful applicants will need to attend a virtual assessment centre in March/April 2023.
**Candidates will need to be able to begin their first placement on September 4th 2023.
