Design Engineer (SolidWorks) Are you a talented Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive skills and experience using Solidworks? Then this Devon based engineering firm could be the perfect opportunity for you. Working within a talented team of Engineers you will fully utulise your design and development skills in this senior Design Engineer's role. The work is varied and interesting and the business is a local, growing enterprise. Job Responsibilities: Design products using SolidWorks Complete design and validation work to agreed timing plans Effectively maintain design record files as appropriate Resolve customer related issues in a timely manner Effectively co-ordinate teams from Production, Purchasing and Sales to resolve engineering concerns / issues Preferred Skills: Minimum qualification HND / HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline Knowledge and experience of the use of Solidworks essential Proven ability to deliver new designs to planned release date, generate specifications for product improvement and perform physical validation testing of new designs A minimum of 2 year's experience in a Mechanical Design role within a manufacturing company. Working Hours: 8.00am to 4.00pm Mon-Fri Meridian Business Support
