Job description

The basic skill set needed for Fiber Design would be.

  • Experience working remote and training over a video platform (we use MS Teams)
  • Basic knowledge of excel (know how to expand columns & lines and be able to edit a draw object
  • Experience or knowledge in fiber design and or OSP operation
  • Able to read and understand standard construction drawings, be able to identify HH, splice points and call outs on the construction drawing.
  • Follow instructions give both verbal and written.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Have knowledge of or experience working in a production environment
  • Be accountable and have good time management skills.
  • Knowledge of or experience in trouble shooting issue.
  • Ability to take on call during normal 8 hour shift
