Our large manufacturing client located in Mossville, Illinois, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with Design Exp, to add to their team.

Position's Contributions to Work Group:

• Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) project work and team meeting facilitation. Including work in related software to document program requirements, Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), validation planning, etc.

Typical task breakdown:

• Overall program management for APQP, meeting facilitation (co-facilitation), documentation in related software (per above), interaction with engineering teams though meetings and follow-up for improving product designs through APQP process.

Interaction with team:

• Hybrid of on-site and virtual (Teams) work.

Work environment:

Office setting; may include visits to various offices of our client and potential suppliers.

Education & Experience Required:

• BS in mechanical, electrical, computer, or manufacturing engineering.
• 5-7 years of experience.

Technical Skills

(Required)

• Excel, good mechanical aptitude

(Desired) - APQP related software (such as Plato E1ns, DOORS, Team Center, Jama, etc.).

Soft Skills

(Required)

• Self-starter, time management , good communications skills

(Desired)

• Project leadership
