This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Derby Safeguarding Adults Board, based at the Council House.
The Derby Safeguarding Adults Board Administrator will provide administrative support to the Derby Safeguarding Adults Board, providing a full, confidential, planned and responsive administrative service to directly support a functional activity, where co-ordination, interaction with co-workers and an awareness of related activities is important.
You will need to have proven experience as an administrator and be comfortable and adapt at taking clear and concise minutes.
To be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
- Relevant office experience
- Experience of maintaining databases such as Excel
- Experience of dealing with written and electronic correspondence
- Ability to work as part of a team and with minimum supervision
- Have an appreciation of and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
- Have strong organisation and prioritisation skills
- Be methodical and have attention to detail
- Experience of taking minutes at meetings
