G7 courier services are now looking for dedicated and enthusiastic delivery drivers to work out of our Gatwick depot. Self Employed opportunities on a Full-time and Part Time basis are available. (9 hour routes available 5 days a week)

• No Sortation - all routes are pre sequenced and pre-mapped. All you need to do is load your parcels and you are ready to go!

What we require

• A minimum of 6 months commercial van driving experience for Multi-Drop Delivery is preferred (e.g. Amazon Delivery, Hermes, DPD, Royal Mail etc.)
• No experience candidates, we would expect exceptional customer service, dedication and commitment
• Must be holding a Full UK or Euro Driving license for at least 1 year and a maximum of 6 points with no active IN, DR or TT codes
• Attention to detail to ensure deliveries are completed as per the correct process
• Able to lift packages (up to 30kg)
• Flexible to service demands including weekend availability when required.
• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Able to pass a drugs & alcohol test
• Be able to commute to and from delivery station

The role involves collecting a van from the Depot each morning and loading deliveries from a staging area, once loaded the deliveries are organized into routes. Drivers are expected to proactively carry out deliveries and stick to a pre-planned route. Once deliveries are completed, the van should be returned to the on-site parking facility.

Experience:

• Multidrop delivery: 1 year (preferred)
• driving: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• UK/EU Driver license with no more than 6 points (required)
