At Hearst UK, there’s always more to the story. Join us as our Deputy Movies Editor at Digital Spy to start the next chapter in your career.

We’re the UK’s leading premium publisher, and the people behind iconic media brands such as Digital Spy, Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and Country Living. We’ll always try to develop and improve, we trust each other to do our best, and we have fun as we build on our heritage to make history.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Digital Spy, the UK’s biggest TV and movies website, is looking for a bright, hardworking Movies obsessive to join its team of dedicated superfans. The Deputy Movies Editor will help to run the best and busiest Movies desk in UK media, the country’s most authoritative and enjoyable source for popular entertainment news.

They will be a witty and stylish writer, a data hound driven by analytics with excellent SEO experience. You’ll be a team player, collaborative and vocal, as well as a creative thinker capable of generating a constant stream of ideas.

The ideal candidate will know their major blockbuster franchises (and lore) as well as the British movie landscape, you’ll also know the Netflix film release schedule better than your own mother’s birthday.

JOB SPEC: (Main duties and Responsibilities)
