Deputy Manager @ Tortilla Bristol Airport

At SSP UK we are now recruiting for a talented Deputy Manager to join our team at Tortilla at Bristol Airport!

Tortilla is all about delicious and authentic burritos, tacos and bowls... straight out of Mexico (with a touch of Californian inspiration) and we are excited to bring these true and authentic flavours to Bristol Airport.

This is an incredible opportunity to join our experienced management team in an exciting and busy environment.

We are 'The Food Travel Experts' - the leading operator of restaurants, bars, cafes and food courts in travel locations. Established for more than 60 years, our operations feature a mix of food and beverage brands tailored specifically for each location. You will be joining a world-leading food service organisation with superb learning, development and progression opportunities, operating over 400 stores in the UK alone.

Reporting directly to our General Manager, as a Deputy Manager your working week will be varied; from being hands on and leading the team from the front, to assisting the General Manager in recruiting, training and meeting key financial targets.

Please note that for this position shifts can start as early as 2am.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Previous experience of managing a diverse team of people in a similar high volume and fast paced environment.
• Experience in training, mentoring and developing your team to deliver excellent customer service whilst meeting financial and operational targets.
• Previous experience of having P&L financial exposure and exercising the necessary controls required when running a unit - (control of GP, labour, profit etc.)
