Job Title: Deputy Manager Secret Food Tours London
Location: London
Salary: Starting £27K with annual bonus and tips of 10K or more.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Manager to join our Secret Food Tours London, a fast growing and award winning tourism and events company based in over 60 cities. As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in overseeing and managing the daily operations of the company, Leading tours as well as ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience and that our employees are motivated and engaged.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in guide management, tour scheduling, developing and implementing strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Lead London team including leading and guiding food tours up 3/4 times a week
- Tour creation, designing and working on creating new food tours across London and the UK
- Develop and maintain relationships with restaurants, vendors, bars and other tour operators, and local government bodies.
- Manage and monitor the performance of department heads, providing guidance and support as necessary.
- Ensuring that all employees are happy, working well, adhere to company policies and procedures, and that they are trained and motivated to provide excellent service to our guests.
- Monitor and manage the financial performance of the company, ensuring that revenue targets are met or exceeded.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about the tourism industry and market trends, and make recommendations for improvements or changes to the company's products or services.
Requirements:
- Background in Tourism, hospitality, tour guiding or management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Passionate about food, drink, history and London Culture.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound business decisions.
- Knowledge of tourism industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required.
