Job description
The Trust is looking for a talented, experienced and enthusiastic person to support the Data Warehouse team.
The role will assist in maintaining and developing information systems within the Trust and managing database administrators and developers.
The role will involve close engagement with system suppliers, ICT staff and senior service (clinical) staff and the candidate is expected to have experience extracting data and creating reports from clinical systems.
This position is also a management position and could involve managing projects and or developers/database administrators developing systems in on premises systems or in the cloud.
- Working with clinical and nursing teams to elicit and specify information system requirements and tailoring the requirements into a project time line with clearly specified deliverables in a clear timeline
- Using appropriate data ingestion and data transformation software and software engineering techniques to build optimised information systems on cloud or in-house systems
- Monitoring routine jobs and pipelines, identifying, investigating and resolving any failures/developments required for existing and new pipelines
