POSITION TITLE: Deputy Chief Clinical Officer
DEPARTMENT: Administration
COMPENSATION: $130,000.00-$135,000.00 (DOE)
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Deputy Chief Clinical Officer (DCCO) is a senior management position reporting to the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) and is part of the La Familia Leadership Team and supports the leadership of Behavioral Health programs at La Familia, as well as provides backup to the CCO. This individual will also assume the responsibilities of the CCO within the agency and with external stakeholders when the CCO is unavailable or on leave.
In collaboration with the CCO, the DCCO will: articulate and implement the strategic vision and provide leadership of assigned teams; evaluate the effectiveness of services to provide ongoing formative feedback to achieve maximum community impact and high-quality participant experience; raise the agency’s profile through fostering external relationships; provide mentoring, guidance, supervision, and professional development to all assigned staff; and enhance the efficacy and reach of the organization by staying abreast of best practices and emerging developments in relevant service strategies linked to the La Familia mission.
The DCCO will, on an ongoing basis, review services offered and participate in the development of new or expansion of existing programs as needs emerge and funding sources become available. The DCCO will partner with other leadership and administrative staff while also responsible for all assigned program planning, organizing, operating, and staffing.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Graduate degree in social work, psychology or related field, and licensure with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences or Board of Psychology (i.e., Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC). License must have been active for at least two years.
- Leadership experience in non-profit organizations for no less than 3-5 years, and including oversight of contracts and services related to the public mental health system.
- Knowledge and practice of cultural responsiveness and humility, as well intersectionality of identities and how this impacts experiences with the public mental health system.
