This is an opportunity to work with The Safeguarding Adults and Professional Standards Team.
The Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards Administrator will support in the maintenance of a robust authorisation process for Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS) dealing with administrative tasks within the Safeguarding Adults & Professional Standards Service including the inputting of data onto systems and databases in relation to DOLS.
You will need to have proven experience as an administrator and be comfortable and adapt at taking clear and concise minutes.
To be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
- Relevant office experience
- Experience of maintaining databases such as Excel
- Experience of dealing with written and electronic correspondence
- Ability to work as part of a team and with minimum supervision
- Have an appreciation of and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
- Have strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Be methodical and have attention to detail
- Be able to prioritise work
All employees will normally be appointed to the minimum of the grade for the job. For reasons connected with a particular need of the Council it may be appropriate, subject to approval, to appoint to a higher point in the pay grade.
