Job description
We are looking for a Depot Operative to join our team based at our Head Office Depot in Coventry.
In this role you will be responsible for managing warehouse organisation, housekeeping, logistical planning, goods in process, and stock management.
Monday - Friday, 08.30-17.00 - overtime available.
Key Responsibilities
To maintain a clean and tidy depot environment- To assist with general upkeep / maintenance of the depot and stores
- To be responsible for offloading deliveries (using FLT) and processing into stock
- To manage the Goods In / Goods Out process including submitting relevant paperwork to the National Operations Centre
- To monitor stock levels and request replenishment when required
- To ensure the Depot (and its content) remain compliant to H&S standards
- To provide support to the National Operations Centre and wider service team out on site to help deliver ongoing works (to include overnight stays where required)
- To assist with other manual tasks as / when required by the business
- To deliver emergency parts from stock to field-based engineers (if required)
- To tow trailers to site to complete works (if required)
- To focus on achieving individual and team objectives
- To work positively and communicate professionally across the team, providing an effective contribution to work tasks
Education, Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in warehousing / logistics - preferred- Previous experience in manual labour - preferred
- Full clean driving license w/ towing capability
- CSCS Card - preferred
- FLT License (CBAL)
